Japanese maker of paper coffee filters sold exclusively to Cafe Leopold Hawleka in Vienna. She developed a loyalty to this particular coffee house during her Junior year of college studying the immigration patterns of the toothsome Hungarian Esterházy Torte. This relationship spawned when a wealthy customer of the cafe, seeing her day after day struggling with books and the obvious strain of paying her coffee tab, anonymously set up an endowment for her. Even now she goes there daily for her sweetened libation and its caffinated inspiration.
Her family has made paper in a small village in the foothills of Mt Fuji for over 500 years. Since moving to Vienna she’s excelled in other paper making processes.
