Once thought to be extinct, Flying Tent Stakes were rediscovered one brisk afternoon in November by Professor Ian Marcus when he stumbled upon a clutch of prehistoric eggs in the corner of an archeological dig he’d staged for his students. Thinking they were charcoal briquettes planted there by Tony as a prank, he tossed a handful of them into the campfire with a chuckle. Quickly catching fire followed by a flurry of loud pops, which startled everyone present, the Tent Stake younglings burst forth and, much like baby crocodiles, were fully capable of flight. Immediately they sought refuge on the top of the nearest tent.
